The Apocalypse

The world being a simulation is some scary [OBSCENE PARAGRAPH REDACTED BY ORDER OF BULGARIAN GOVERMENT]. I could go on for ages about how scary the mere concept of living in a simulation could be. What if the simulation level above just said: "Oh no! This simulation is becoming self aware! I must switch it off!" and BAM. Universe dead-ified.

Which brings me to apocalypses, the real topic of today.

So first, a way to rank apocalypses. Because, the world destroying laser is not as bad as switching off the matrix.

So, without further ado, here are my ranks:

Rank Alpha: Personal Disruption: A single person is injured or becomes sick, which causes harm to them but they recover.

Rank Beta: Personal Destruction: A single person is permamently killed.

Rank Gamma: Local Disruption: An entire town suffers some sort of harm that sets it back a lot.

Rank Delta: Local Destruction: An entire town is permanently destroyed or in some other way rendered permamently uninhabitable.

Rank Epsilon: National Disruption: An entire country is set back a lot through some harm like flooding or a natural disaster.

Rank Stigma: National Destruction: An entire country is completely destroyed or rendered permamently uninhabitable

Rank Zeta: Global Disruption: The whole of the human race is set back in technology to the pre-industrial era, or otherwise slowed down in development to an equivalent level.

Rank Eta: Global Destruction: The entire Earth is destroyed.

Rank Theta: Stellar Destruction: The entire solar system is destroyed.

Rank Iota: Galactic Destruction: The entire milky way is destroyed.

Rank Iota-Alpha: Multigalactic Destruction: Multiple galaxies are destroyed.

Rank Iota-Beta: Universal Reconstruction: The entire universe is rebuilt or altered in a way that makes it uninhabitable for humans.

Rank Iota-Gamma: Universal Destruction: The whole of our current timeline is destroyed.

Rank Iota-Delta: Multitemportal Destuction: Our timeline, and all other parallell timelines are destroyed.

Rank Iota-Epsilon: Omniversal Destruction: Every possible universe in every possible timeline is destroyed.

So, turning off the simulation would be rank iota-gamma.

Also, look, a chart!

At This Point, I Began Crying Blood

http://www.creationmoments.com/content/light-distant-stars-proof-millions-years

Read that link. Now, you can understand why right now I am crying blood.

If the speed of light (c) was different, you know what else would change? The fine structure constant.

The fine structure constant is defined by the following equation:

If the speed of light changes, so does the fine structure constant. So if c was 1,000 bigger in 4004 BC (as asserted by this website), the fine structure constant would be 7.29735×10^-6, which would not allow stars to fuse carbon (or anything, most likely, making them sort of NOT SHINE), which means life could not exist. And life certainly does exist (see me), so the speed of light can't have been 1000 times bigger in the past.

Hang on, I just need to wipe some blood out of my eyes.
